In your first few classes it’s normal to be a little confused as you are guided through the poses; following instructions to put this foot here and this hand there.
As a teacher, I use English descriptions first, then mix and match with Sanskrit the ancient language of Yoga as you become more accustom to the poses and their names.
In beginners sessions we take spend some time with helping to understand the basics of breath, movement and relaxation. We practice barefooted so that we may connect to our roots to the earth. Classes are either via a short workshop or 1 hour long classes.
If you are new to yoga come and join us on Monday evenings, where our classes are aimed at exploring the fundamentals of yoga and are ideal for beginners and those wishing to improve their practice.
